April 23: I wrote an announcement to be read during the school announcements as a reminder to donate goods. 45 minutes
Mr. Roller edited and made changes to my announcement when i went to visit him after school. 10 minutes
April 26: I called the Cradles to Crayons organization, so i could figure out if they could give me bins to place in the school to place the donations in. 10 minutes
May 3: I rewrote my announcement during study hall and brought it to Mr. Roller. 15 minutes
We discussed details about the toydrive after school: it would last two weeks from May 17th to May 28th. 15 minues
May 10: I visited the maintence office to see if they had any bins they could give me for the drive because Cradles to Crayons didn't have any to donate. They told me i could use recycling bins, but i would have to make signs to put on them, so people wouldn't think it was for trash. 15 minutes
May 11: I stayed after school asking each homeroom teacher if they thought it was okay to place a box in their room. After they all agreed, i went to the library and stayed after to make signs for each homeroom teacher, so they could place the bins in their room with a sign. 1 hour and 30 minutes
I did each homeroom, so i could make it a fun game for everyone to donate and whichever homeroom donate the most gifts, would recieve water ice.
May 12: I came early to school at 7:00 AM and i taped all the signs to the bins. Then I distributed each donation bin to every homeroom. 1 hour
May 17: I came in at 7:30 before school to make sure Mr. Roller wouldn't forget to remind Will Blankin to make the announcement for the toy drive. 5 minutes
May 22: Since there was a lack of donations, i went to talk to Mr. Roller about what to do next. We agreed on the idea of a teacher dress down day to raise money and it would happen from May 24th to June 11th. 20 minutes
May 28: It was the end of the toy drive, so i went to each homeroom and collected all of the donations. 25 minutes
May 31: I went into school at 7:00 AM to collect all of the bins and take the signs off of them. I also had to return all the bins to the maintanience room. 1 hour
Water ice wasn't awarded to any of the homerooms since there were no donations.
June 1: Alyssa Davidson told me she had brought in some of her daughter slightly used toys for me, so i went to her room after school to collect all of it. 15 minutes
June 1: Mark Citron told me that he had brought in a slightly used car seat, so after school I went and got it. 5 minutes
June 14: I recieved all the money from the dress down day.
It raised eighty-eight dollars
October 6: My mother, Gillian Canfield, and I went to the Cradles to Crayons organization on Clipper Road, in Conshocken. 2 hours
Graduation Project: Cradles to crayons
